On February 9, a special program featuring well-known host Hai Xia having a conversation with Wang Degen, Chairman of Dekon Group, aired on the CCTV New Films and Old Stories Channel. The program conducted an in-depth discussion on Wang Degen’s dedication to rural revitalization and his leadership of Dekon Group in implementing the model of “cooperating with farmers and helping farmers to build an industrial ecosystem through breeding and cultivation integration and technological innovation, and boosting the rural revitalization”, fulfilling social responsibilities, and advancing the practice of “farmer-enterprise shared prosperity” model.
The Dekon model abandons the zero-sum game between enterprises and farmers. By building a symbiotic and win-win ecological platform, it drives the integrated development of the industrial chain, transforms farmers from “bystanders” to “participants” and “beneficiaries” of industrial development, and positions the leading enterprise in the industrial chain as a “leader” and “enabler” of industrial upgrading. This model not only aligns with the policy direction of the 15th Five-Year Plan on building a modern agricultural management system and cultivating new industries and business models in rural areas, but also provides a replicable practical path for integrated development in the agricultural sector.
Dekon’s practice proves that as the “leading goose” of the industrial chain, leading enterprises can truly unleash the underlying driving force for rural revitalization only by taking root in rural areas, empowering farmers, keeping pace with farmers and promoting coordinated industrial development. At the new stage of the 15th Five-Year Plan, Dekon Group will further explore the development of agricultural industrialization consortia. Through technological innovation and management optimization, Dekon Group will continue to cultivate and develop new productive forces in agriculture, promote the formation of more efficient, greener and more inclusive new models for rural industrial development, and contribute corporate strength to accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
